Molly Heublein, MD

Professor

Dr. Molly Heublein is a primary care specialist in Women's Health Primary Care at UCSF Medical Center. In addition to women's health, she has a special interest in chronic disease management and geriatrics. She manages hypertension, diabetes, asthma, emphysema and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and hypothyroidism, among other conditions. She views her role as a primary care doctor as a wellness advocate who listens to each patient's health needs, and focuses on sharing her knowledge of medicine to help patients make informed decisions and lifestyle choices.

Dr Heublein earned a medical degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 2009, and completed an internal medicine residency in Philadelphia at the University of Pennsylvania Heath System in 2012. She joined UCSF Women's Health Primary Care in 2012. She is an associate clinical professor of medicine at UCSF.

In addition to her clinical work, she teaches medical students and residents in the clinical setting and serves as the site director for the Women's Health Primary Care Internal Medicine Residents. She contributes as a senior editor to The Curbsiders Podcast, a free open access medical education podcast, and co-created Curbsiders Teach, a podcast series around best practices in health professions education.
