Lidia Rodriguez Garcia joins DPS as an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator working with John Sauceda. Lidia is a recent graduate of S.F. State University and completed the NIAID-funded UCSF-CFAR Scholars Research Training Program this past November. She will be helping primarily with the coordination activities of the PERSIST Study (Psychosocial and Ethical Aspects of HIV Cure Research in the United States). This study involves quantitative and qualitative research activities to study the experiences of people completing HIV cure-related trials that involve extensive pauses of HIV treatment (also called an analytical treatment interruption). In her free time she enjoys painting, experimenting with new recipes, dancing, and spending time with her family.
