Alicia Bolton, PhD joins Janet Myers and team as a Qualitative Analyst on two HRSA-funded SPNS projects: 2iS and RAPID. The goal of the 2iS Evaluation Center is to evaluate and provide leadership and technical assistance to twenty demonstration sites across the U.S. in implementing interventions to improve outcomes along the HIV care continuum. The primary objective of RAPID is to assess the implementation of rapid ART initiation in order to provide guidance and direction for future Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) settings. Alicia is trained as an anthropologist and was most recently working as Program Manager for the FOCUS Program at California Hospital Medical Center (CHMC). The FOCUS Program is a public health initiative focused on increasing screening for HIV and Hepatitis C (HCV) in the Emergency Department and provides linkage to care for patients with positive results. Prior to that, she was the qualitative analyst at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) doing HIV prevention intervention research with LGBTQ+ youth of color.
