Three key qualitative findings identified in the ASPIRE trial, dapivirine vaginal ring for HIV prevention

Three key findings were identified among participants of the ASPIRE trial (dapivirine vaginal ring for HIV prevention among African women). They grew to like the ring, they overcame uptake and adherence challenges with staff and peer support, and dynamics of their male partner relationship(s) influenced their acceptability and use of the ring.
