In South Africa, couples who received a behavioral intervention were more likely to participate in couples-based HIV testing and counseling (CHTC) compared to couples who did not get the intervention. Additionally, the time it took for intervention couples to participate in CHTC was significantly shorter than the control couples. (L. Darbes & M. Johnson, CAPS/PRC)
