HIV self-testing among South African men who have sex with men

South African men who have sex with men were asked to try an oral fluid (OF) or fingerstick (FS) test for HIV self-testing. MSM who took the OF test were able to perform the test, while FS performance was less consistent. Preference for FS was strong, and performance may improve with more instructional resources. (S.
