Estimating the Population Size of Female Sex Workers in South Africa

The SAHMS (South Africa Health Monitoring Survey) study produced estimates of the female sex worker population for three cities. The SAHMS produced point size estimates representing about 0.48% (7697), 0.49% (6500), and 0.77% (9323) of the adult female population in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and eThekwini, respectively. (A.
