Effectiveness and outreach for colorectal cancer screening

Mailing a postcard and FIT kit (fecal immunochemical test) followed by a phone call increased colorectal cancer screening among elderly patients at primary care safety-net clinics. The intervention was also found to be cost-effective. There was evidence of effect modification of the intervention by race/ethnicity, marital status, language, and clinic. (M. Somsouk, PRC SIP)
