"Anchored Multiplier" estimates the size of hidden populations
Research Read
The Anchored Multiplier is a novel Bayesian approach that informs public health programming to address the HIV epidemic and estimates the burden of disease for key, hidden populations. Estimates are derived from multipliers coupled to an a priori estimate to arrive at a single consensus estimate and credible range. (P. Wesson & W. Mcfarland, CAPS/PRC)
