Demetre Daskalakis, MD, MPH, Deputy Coordinator for the White House National Mpox Response

Dr. Demetre Daskalakis

The U.S. Mpox response has drawn wisdom from other prevention and response efforts – such as HIV, STIs, and COVID-19.  As the Deputy Coordinator for the White House National Mpox response, Dr. Daskalakis will share insights on what has worked well and not as well, and how we might work toward a syndemic approach to public health.
