Dr. Wendy Bostwick

Dr. Bostwick has been conducting research related to sexual minority identity and health for 25 years, with a particular focus on bi+ groups and the mental health effects of discrimination. In this presentation, she’ll discuss the history and current state of the field of bisexual health research, identifying both trends and gaps in the field, with an eye toward future areas of focus. Dr. Bostwick will also discuss how frameworks from outside of the health sciences may be of particular use to understanding the health of not just bisexual persons, but all groups who may experience health inequities.
