PLHIV’s “spoiled” identities can become “valorized” identities w/ experiencing ART’s benefits and becoming “advocates for ART” in their communities

HIV stigma can negatively affect people’s identities. These “spoiled” identities can transform into more positive, “valorized” identities with experiencing antiretroviral therapy’s (ART) benefits and becoming “advocates for ART” in their communities.
