The UCSF Traineeships in AIDS Prevention Studies (TAPS) Program is a 2-3 year postdoctoral training program at the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies which has had the honor of helping to launch the careers of leading clinician and social/behavioral science researchers in the HIV field since its inception in 1989.

Four of our current fellows will talk about their hopes and ideas for future directions in HIV research, as well as some of their present research endeavors, including:

Birth outcomes in HIV-infected women 

HIV care cascade outcomes in East Africa 

Caribbean masculinity as it relates to MSM and trans women 

Sampling and estimating the size of hidden populations
